INDEKA Group is expanding its fleet with 30 road trains based on the Renault T480 chassis.
We have been using Renault T vehicles in our fleet for the third year running. Vehicles obtained in 2019 already have mileage of 450,000 to 500,000 km, nevertheless, they do not differ from the existing vehicle fleet in terms of maintenance. The new vehicles will haul large-volume goods on international routes for global corporations – leaders in the packaging, hygiene and automotive sectors
Tailor-made vehicles
The vehicles were practically “tailor-made” to our specifications. This is evidenced, for example, by the fact that they are equipped with larger fuel tanks with a total capacity of around 1,500 litres, which facilitates long route planning and optimisation.
Our Renault Trucks T480s are powered by the latest 13-litre Euro VI Step E emissions-compliant engines with the maximum power output of 480 hp (353 kW), coupled with a 12-speed Optidriver 2612F automatic gearbox. Service brake operation is assisted by the powerful Optibrake+ retarder with 382 kW at 2,300 rpm.
Indeka’s operational savings will be ensured by Fuel Eco+ fuel economy and driving economy packages. These include such features as flexible cruise control with the Optiroll function and an engine shut-off system activated after 5 minutes. They also include the Optivision topographical cruise control function which allows fuel-efficient gear selection according to the current terrain condition and reduces the speed even by 10 km/h in conditions favourable for fuel consumption decrease.
Maximum operating efficiency is obtained thanks to the OptifleetCheck service which generates technical data reports to control the driver’s fuel consumption trends.
